2025 was an eventful year for us – characterized by major challenges, strong cohesion and many positive moments that have brought us closer together as a company.
The reconstruction of our plant in Hayna after the devastating fire on July 22, 2024 was a particular focus. What initially seemed like a serious setback turned into a strong sign of cohesion and confidence in 2025. With great commitment, dedication and a clear shared vision, the plant was rebuilt step by step. One thing was particularly noticeable: the extraordinary team spirit within the entire company. Colleagues from all locations stood up for each other.
A major setback followed at the end of the year: On December 8, 2025, there was another fire at our plant in Bismark. In this situation, the extraordinary solidarity within the entire company became particularly clear. Our colleagues received encouragement and concrete offers of help from all locations. Statements such as “We’ve got your back, you can always fall back on us” or “We’ll help with the reconstruction wherever we can” showed that we are not just colleagues, but a strong team that stands together in difficult times.
Despite these challenges, 2025 was also a very successful year in technical and economic terms. The harvest was positive overall, and the harvest and processing volumes for some products were higher than originally planned. This indicates good conditions and is the result of the excellent work of everyone involved along the value chain.
A special highlight for many colleagues was the study trip to the plant in Hayna. It was a great pleasure to visit the rebuilt plant on site and experience the reconstruction at close quarters. The personal exchanges and shared impressions made this trip an unforgettable experience.
The Food Ingredients Europe trade fair in Paris, which we attended as visitors in 2025, also remains a lasting memory. We met up with many familiar faces and long-standing partners there. The personal exchange was intensive and characterized by open discussions, new ideas and shared perspectives. These encounters have further deepened our collaboration and brought us even closer together with our customers. We are now looking forward to 2026 with confidence. The next study trip will take us to Seerau, where our colleagues from Bismark and Hayna will visit their colleagues. We will also be exhibiting at Food Ingredients Europe in Frankfurt, where you can meet us at stand 42D50. We hope that the coming year will be just as successful – driven by team spirit, commitment and the strong cohesion that characterizes us even in challenging times
