Robert and Michael Lettenbichler, our managing directors, are not only passionate entrepreneurs, but also official innovation ambassadors of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. With their vision and commitment, they are continuously driving forward the modernization of our company and setting new standards in production and process optimization. Their goal: increasing efficiency, ensuring quality and promoting sustainable solutions.
Technological innovations in agriculture
To meet the increasing demands in agriculture and to perform also the conventional agriculture as sustainable as possible, we rely on modern field robots such as the Farmdroid, Fieldmate and Raindancer. These support us at sowing, field care and irrigation of plants. Our pesticide management includes drone flyover and following selective spot spraying, ensuring the lowest possible consumption of chemicals.
Sustainable energy supply: Biomass and agrophotovoltaics
In addition to technological innovations, we also rely on sustainable energy sources. We have built our own biomass cogeneration plant, which supplies our production with climate-friendly energy. We have also built an agrophotovoltaic system (APV) – one of the largest of its kind in Germany. This innovative solution makes it possible to use agricultural land twice: to grow our herbs and to generate the electricity we utilize for the processing of the dried material.
