Bismark, December 8, 2025 – On the evening of December 8, 2025, at around 8 p.m., a fire broke out on our Steinicke GmbH premises in Bismark. According to initial findings, the fire probably started in one of our mills, but spread to other areas of the site.

First: all employees were able to get to safety in time. There were no injuries – we are very grateful for that. The health of our team is our top priority. Special thanks go to the emergency services on site, whose quick, coordinated and professional actions played a decisive role in bringing the fire under control.

Fortunately, one of our mills in Bismark is still operational. Our mills in Hayna and Luechow will provide additional support to compensate for the loss of production in the best possible way.

Important to emphasize: Arson can be ruled out. The exact cause of the fire is still being carefully investigated. We will of course keep you informed as soon as new information becomes available.

Steinicke GmbH is working at full speed to rebuild the affected areas as quickly as possible and to continue operations in a stable manner. We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and professionalism in this challenging situation.
